My last two years were like a fun trip in comparison, once I invited God back in and once I had a few groups of friends the school got a lot smaller. I learned a lot of things and developed a lot as a person. It was my last year of high school that my Dad passed away; he was a wonderful man and a strong role model for suffering since he had many major health concerns. His death shook up the family quite a bit. It was shortly after this that I found myself in a musical theatre course and discovered just how much I truly enjoy performance. I also dated a girl in that course who was a strong Christian. Since I’m a very romantic guy, and she was my first real relationship, she had a profound impact on me, and I was pretty clingy towards her. It did not work out in the end, but we grew a lot through the experience and we were both baptized before the fall. Come that September I embarked upon a new adventure in life: Bible College. I took a one-year program and made a bunch of great, close friends; it became like my second home. Academically I wasn’t very studious, but I know God works in my life, and I know I learned a lot of important lessons outside of the classrooms and the textbooks.
